Clear epoxy resin is a synthetic material used in a wide range of artistic and craft projects, such as modeling, water effects, jewelry making, repotting, and quick repairs. Due to its transparency and hardness, it is a particularly popular material for creating various effects in miniatures, wargames, various handicrafts, and dioramas.

To create the mixture, two components are carefully combined. The liquid epoxy resin and the hardener trigger a chemical reaction that typically takes 24 hours. It is crucial to mix the components accurately to avoid undesirable results, such as uncured mixtures, excessive curing times, or flexible cured pieces.

For a correct mixture of the modeling epoxy resin, the components must be carefully mixed using a wooden stick or spoon. Stirring the mixture should be avoided to prevent the formation of persistent air bubbles.

The time during which epoxy resins can be worked after mixing is called working time. This time can vary depending on the amount of epoxy resin mixed. Larger quantities will result in shorter working times, typically between 20 and 60 minutes. A warm environment will accelerate the reaction, reducing the working time, while a cold environment will extend the working time.

Dye for Resins can be incorporated into the mixture, as well as a variety of fillers, including pigments and glitter powders, among others. However, it is important to ensure that the fillers used can withstand the high temperatures that occur during curing and are compatible with this product.
