Plastic sanding needles

This product is perfect for getting into those very small areas that are almost impossible with conventional tools. Ideal for miniaturists who need a tool for precise work, these needles give you excellent control for finishing and precision. When even the smallest modelling scissors are too big for some projects, these plastic sanding needles will be a great relief. Use this product to remove flash (casting seams) in tight corners, compound curves, sculptural miniatures and decorative work.

Whether you like to work with plastic, resin, metal or wood, sanding needles are designed to make the job easier and give superior results. The sanding needles are washable, reusable and excess material can be removed and cleaned with our abrasive cleaning disc, adding to the extended performance.

Plastic sanding needles are available in packs of 8 for 150, 240 and 320 grit, and in packs of 6 for assorted needles (2 of each). The different needle grits are color-coded, so you can easily retrieve the correct grit needed, even from a crowded workstation! Apply the range of three abrasive needles to your project.

The coarser needle is perfect for the initial phase of the finishing process, and can be used to remove deep imperfections or surface defects. The medium needle, used afterwards, enables crafters to smooth and remove the coarser scratches created during the initial sanding. Finally, the best sanding needle levels and the soft ones provide a delicate touch that prevents excessive material loss during your final finishing step.
