Colors standard, pearls and metals and fluorescents
- Secure the lid and shake well for 30 seconds for optimum color mixing (using a 0.5 mm nozzle at 30 psi).
- Use straight from the bottle
- Can be diluted with reducer 6324-00 (sold separately) for small nozzles and other specific applications (5 to 10% by volume).
- Protect from frost
Candy colors
- Secure the lid and shake well for 30 seconds for optimal color mixing.
- Use as soon as it comes out of the bottle (with a 0.5 mm tip at 30-35 psi.). Can be reduced by up to 5% for smaller tips, but can cause dyes to collect, creating dark spots if reduced too much.
- Avoid very high psi as this can cause dry spray and loss of adhesion.
- Apply 3 to 5 medium-wet coats for full color saturation. Allow each coat to air-dry before applying. Do not use heat .
- An overlap pattern of 60-70% is preferable for a uniform layer.
- Support these candy colors with a reflective color such as pearl or metallic as an intermediate layer. Then come back with a solid color such as white for luminosity (i.e. - Candy Apple effect: Candy Blood Red, Metallic Gold , White )
- Cleaning: best results when rinsing airbrush with paint reducer # 6324-00
