Model Air Color US Earth Red 17 ml.

Water-based acrylic matte colors specially formulated for airbrushing. Each color has been rigorously developed by our experts to offer the modeler maximum historical fidelity. The Model Air range contains the widest selection of military colors used on both vehicles and aircraft, from the conflicts of the First and Second World Wars to the present day. The colors can be used directly on the surface or diluted with our Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. They dry quickly, and it's advisable to apply successive coats to a primed surface. A few hours after application, the color forms an extraordinarily resistant film without altering the slightest detail of the model. It can be used with a brush. Recommended compressor settings are around 15 - 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. For proper airbrush maintenance, we recommend Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner.
How to use: Shake well before use. Pour paint directly into airbrush, undiluted or diluted with Thinner (71261). Colors can be mixed in the airbrush cup. Model Air dries almost instantaneously on the model, enabling immediate application of aging processes, as well as the use of washes, pigments and dry-brushing techniques.
Varnish :The varnishes have been specially formulated for airbrushing. They dry very quickly and leave no fingerprints ("no tack"). Varnishes can be applied directly or diluted with distilled water or Thinner 71261. In some cases, one coat of varnish is sufficient, but if several coats are required, an interval of 5 minutes between each coat is suggested. Once protected by varnish, colors resist the application of oils, glazes, even pure turpentine and light alcohol washes.
Airbrush thinner 71261 : Airbrush thinner can give more flexibility to the color without causing loss of adhesion, opacity and covering properties. The product also helps delay paint drying inside the airbrush mechanism, so it's advisable to add a few drops of thinner while working. For dilution with thinner, the recommended ratio is 1 part thinner to 3 parts paint. Distilled water alters the properties of Model Air, but is not incompatible.
Airbrush Flow Improver : A medium designed to improve flow and delay paint drying on the needle when airbrushing. We recommend adding 2 drops of Flow Improver to 10 drops of paint in the airbrush cup.
Airbrush cleaner 71099 :Airbrush Cleaner is the solution for cleaning the airbrush between one color and another. The product quickly removes old paint residues and also lubricates the airbrush without damaging its mechanism. During painting, the airbrush tip should be cleaned from time to time with a cloth soaked in cleaner to remove traces of dried color, to prevent splattering or clogging of the airbrush. Airbrush cleaner can also be used on the model as a stripper to remove paint or to correct errors in color application.

Presentation: Model Air comes in 17 ml/0.57 fl.oz. bottles with dropper. This prevents the paint from evaporating and drying inside the can. Minimal quantities can be used, and the contents of the bottle can be stored for a long time.
