Description
- Acrylic colors specially formulated for airbrushing, with optimum adhesion to surfaces such as fiberglass, polyethylene, polycarbonate, metal and Lexan. Premium has been created with permanent pigments and a new, highly resistant acrylic-polyurethane hybrid resin. The Premium range includes matte and opaque colors, transparents, metallics, fluorescents and line-specific auxiliaries. Premium is particularly suitable for painting helmets, motorcycle tanks, surfboards and other surfaces exposed to high wear and tear, and resists impact and cracking, as well as direct exposure to heat. Premium colors remain unchanged by the fuel blends used in R/C (up to 35% nitro). We recommend applying Premium in successive coats to previously primed surfaces; can be applied directly or diluted with AV Premium Reducer. The colors form a homogeneous film of extraordinary hardness and resistance a few hours after application. Recommended compressor settings are around 15-20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. For particularly resistant protection, a urethane (2K) final varnish is recommended. Utensils can be cleaned with water.
